Established in 1972 initially to produce concrete building blocks, Gryphonn has expanded it's production facilities and strengthened it's product portfolio to encompass many aspects of the building products supply chain.

Contained within Gryphonn are three separate working units;

• Gryphonn Concrete Products
• Gryphonn Quarries
• Coleford Brick & Tile

Gryphonn Concrete Products: Manufacturing site & Gryphonn head-offices based at Pontllanfraith, Gwent.

This site produces Wet-Cast & Pressed paving, from decorative paving ranges aimed at the domestic DIY market to performance paving for local authorities, construction industry and D.O.T. This site also produces a full range of concrete building blocks, dense, medium & lightweight blocks available in paint grades and blockettes.

All products are manufactured using modern highly automated systems enabling Gryphonn to produce products efficiently and to a high quality standard whilst ensuring a competitive unit price.


Gryphonn Quarries: Situated in Trefil, Tredegar, the Gryphonn Quarry Complex produces a wide range of Limestone aggregates.

These products are used as raw materials in our own manufacturing processes at our concrete sites and supplied in bulk form to the civil engineering & construction industries. The Trefil Quarry Complex is a self contained site handling all relevant material processing, loading and dispatch. Products produced range from Large Blockstone to Sub-bases and dust.


Coleford Brick & Tile: Situated in The Royal Forest of Dean, Coleford Brick & Tile is the latest addition to the Gryphonn product range. Established in 1925 with over 80 years experience in the manufacture of bricks, all the products are handthrown by local craftsmen using traditional moulds and locally sourced clay.

Producing a huge range of colours and textures ranging from the standard BS catalogue to decorative custom shapes and arches limited only by the client's imagination. Our award winning products have been used in conservation projects, National Trust activities, corporate developments and own build projects.
